The Cypress Chargers (6-15, 0-5) will participate in the 18th annual truWest Battle at the Beach Women's Water Polo Tournament on October 23rd & 24th, which marks their final tournament before the Orange Empire Conference Championships. The two-day tournament will field 24 teams at three different locations including Cypress College, Cerritos College, and Long Beach City College for a total of 48 games.

The Chargers will play their first match against Chaffey on Friday, October 23rd at 11:30 am at Long Beach City College. Their next match will be played on the same day at 3:00 pm or 4:10 pm, depending on the result of their opening game. Cypress faced Chaffey College on September 19th, defeating them in a 7-4 overtime thriller.

Last year, Fullerton defeated Riverside by a final score of 10-8 in the championship final while Cypress College lost their opening match to Saddleback 11-10 in OT. However, the Chargers were able to bounce back with three consecutive victories in their consolation games.
