Cypress – The Charger water polo team fell to undefeated Fullerton on Wednesday afternoon as the team wrapped up Orange Empire Conference play. The Hornets (21-0, 5-0 OEC) defeated Cypress (8-14, 1-5 OEC) 12-0 in the match.

Fullerton built a 10-0 lead after the first half, but the Chargers stepped up on defense and held the Hornets to just two goals in the final two quarters. Cypress also held Fullerton to its fewest points scored in conference play this season.

The Chargers wrap up the regular season this weekend as they co-host the Battle of the Beach with Long Beach City College. Games will be played at both schools on Oct. 24-25.
