Playing in the Mt. SAC Tournament, the Cypress water polo team notched its biggest victory of the season in dramatic fashion, defeating Saddleback 8-7 in overtime.

Trailing with just three seconds left in regulation, Casey Burke drilled a ball through the net to tie the game and send it to overtime.

With a second extra period looming in front of them, Hali Sanchez was able to find the back of the net, scoring the game-winner for Cypress with just 11 seconds to play.

After the tournament, Cypress' record stands at 3-11 (0-2 OEC). The team plays at Santa Ana on Wednesday at 3:00 pm.
