Nancy Welliver now enters her 21th season as Head Coach of the women's volleyball program. The three-time Orange Empire Conference Coach of the Year (2009, 2010, 2016) has led the Chargers to 17 postseason appearances and 5 State Championship Tournaments during her time at Cypress College. Welliver has guided the Chargers to 3 OEC Championships (2009, 2010, 2016) and an appearance in the 2009 State Championship Finals.
Prior to leading the Charger program, Welliver guided Cerritos College to 8 playoff appearances in 14 years and also led the Fullerton Hornets to the state playoffs in 2 of her 3 seasons.
Overall, Coach Welliver has coached 19-All State Players, 7 South Coast Conference League MVP’s, 4 Orange Empire MVP’s, and over 120 All-Conference players in her 26 years of head coaching experience.
