Brianna Johnson Earns Charger of the Week (Sept. 4-10)

Sophomore Brianna Johnson received the first Charger of the Week of her career after outstanding performances on the road last week (Sept. 4-10).  

The 2016 Second Team All-OEC selection led the No. 13 Chargers to two victories in four matches this past week, including a consolation championship at the 32nd Annual San Diego Mesa Invitational. Johnson led the way for the Chargers with 71 kills, 13 digs, and 14 blocks over the four game span, including a career high 23 kills in a Cypress victory over Mt. SAC.

The Irvine High School alumna is the first member of the volleyball team to receive Charger of the Week this year. She currently leads the Chargers in kills and blocks this season.
