Cypress – The No. 5 Cypress women's volleyball team took care of business against Riverside, defeating the team in three games on Friday evening (25-23, 25-17, 25-11). The Chargers improved to 17-3 and 8-3 in conference, while Riverside fell to 6-14 overall and 3-8 in OEC matches.
 
Lindsey Ray led the team in kills with 20. Both she and Ave Mikaele tallied 12 digs in the match, while Makayla Taylor led the way with 16. Taylor also had 10 kills in the match.
 
The Chargers continue to stand solidly in second-place in the Orange Empire Conference with just three games remaining. The team hosts No. 2 Irvine Valley, who is undefeated this season, on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 7:00 pm.
