Cypress Calif.- Cypress Chargers women's tennis (7-7, 5-4 OEC) completed their sweep over OEC opponent Orange Coast College (3-9, 1-6 OEC) and former Chargers tennis coach Michele Esquival.
The Chargers were able to pick up two points in doubles, as two of the three teams would go on to win. Jessica Cornea and Devan Johnson won 8-6 and Jasmine Singh and Shamine Singh won 8-2. Cypress won four of their six singles matches against the Pirates to collect four additional points. Singles action included wins from Shamine Singh, Jasmine Singh, Ida Sounalath, and a win in a tiebreaker for Devan Johnson to defeat Orange Coast with a final score of 6-3.
