Cornea Receives Charger of the Week (Mar. 9-Mar. 15)

Cypress College women's tennis standout Jessica Cornea was presented with her Charger of the week award during practice on Wednesday.

Cornea earned the award for her performance during the week of Mar. 9-Mar. 15. Cornea's picked up an outstanding win for the Cypress tennis program over Irvine Valley's No. 1 Renee Walton in singles 6-4, 6-2. Cornea also helped collect another win in doubles 8-0, alongside her previously named Charger of the Week teammate Devan Johnson. ​
