Johnson Receives Charger of the Week Honors for (Feb. 23-Mar. 1)

Cypress College women's tennis standout Devan Johnson was presented with Charger of the week honors during practice on Wednesday.

Johnson received the award for her performance against Saddleback during the week of Feb. 23-Mar. 1. Johnson dominated in singles action when she defeated Brianna Garrett 6-0, 6-2. Johnson also helped collect a big win in doubles, where herself and Jessica Cornea won 8-5. The performance of Devan Johnson helped the Chargers women's tennis team collect their first OEC win of the season.
