Freshman swimmer, Meghan Efseaff, earned her first career Charger of the Week Award at Thursday's practice. Efseaff is the first swimmer or diver to earn the award so far this season.

Efseaff swam in her first collegiate match this past Friday where she placed first in the pentathlon, posting a score of 94 points. Efseaff competed in five events for the Chargers – 50-yard fly, 50-yard backstroke, 50-yard breaststroke, 50-yard freestyle, and 100-yard IM. Esfeaff took first place in three of those five races (50 fly, 50 back and 100 IM) and second in the other two (50 breast and 50 free). Efseaff fastest time came in her fourth event, the 50-yard freestyle, where she posted a time of 26.34.

Esteaff jumps back in the water on Friday, February 22 at the Mt. SAC invitational.
