MONTEREY PARK, Calif. ---  Aimee Espey represented the entire Cypress College Swimming & Diving Team this past weekend at the California State Championships.  

In her first event, Espey finished 16th out of 52 competitors in the 50 Yard Freestyle, clocking an impressive time of 25.23. 

Aimee went on to score once again for Cypress when she finished 23rd in the 100 Y Freestyle event.  Espey defeated 21 swimmers in that competition and managed to clock a solid time of 56.26.

After a successful 2104 season, the Freshman standout looks to compete in the State Championships once again in 2015.
