CYPRESS, Calif. --- The Charger Athletic program is proud to announce that Aimee Espey will represent the Cypress Chargers swim program in the 50 Yard Freestyle at the California Junior College Swimming & Diving State Championships.
The State Championships will take place next week on the East L.A. campus from May 1-3.
Espey's success started within the first two weeks of the 2014 season when she finished second out of 11 OEC swimmers in the 50 Yard Freestyle on February 7.
Most recently, Aimee was fourth to touch the wall in the 50 Yard Free out of 15 swimmers at the OEC Championships this past weekend.
Espey also competed in the 100 Yard Freestyle this past weekend, finishing eighth out of 16 competitors.
