Cypress women's soccer (20-2-2) faced their final test on Sunday morning as they traveled to Mt. San Antonio College for the CCCAA State Championship against Hartnell College. The Hartnell Panthers (22-2-2) defeated the Chargers 3-0, as they raised the State Championship trophy for the first time in program history.

The Cypress Chargers (20-1-2) traveled to Mt. San Antonio College to take on the Fresno Rams (15-3-7) for the CCCAA State Semi-Finals. Cypress took down Fresno, 2-1, to advance to the State Finals for the first time since 2004.

Cypress has eight selections; Jassmin Ortiz, Anahi Diaz, Siriana Gudino and Jade Bernardo being named to the first team and Alyssa Villalobos, Presli Dillon, Lucia Yanez and Fabiola Salazar named to the second team.

The Cypress women's soccer team (5-0) is off to a historic start as they were ranked #2 in the nation by the NJCCA (National Junior College Athletic Association) in the first women's soccer rankings of the year. The Lady Chargers have been on a tear scoring six goals in each of their last three games.
