Soccer's Alexis Fuerte Named Charger of the Week (Oct. 20-26)

Cypress - Freshman midfielder Alexis Fuerte has been named Charger of the Week (Oct. 20-26) as she becomes the third women's soccer player to earn the honor this season.

Fuerte is the leader on the Charger backline and has been a true leader on the field this season. Her play has been key in Cypress shutting out 11 teams this season. In the Chargers 4-0 victory over Santa Ana, she tallied one shot on goal and helped Cypress to another shutout win.
