#12 Cypress Chargers women's basketball (20-10) traveled to #5 Glendale College (19-7) for Round 2 of the CCCAA SoCal Regional Playoffs. The Chargers were seeded as the underdog, but came to play as they defeated Glendale in OT on a last second shot by Tanya Carbajal. Cypress advances to face #4 Palomar College (25-2) on Saturday, March 5th at 7pm in the SoCal Regional Final.

The Orange Empire Conference held their annual end of season meeting on Saturday, February 26th. The eight OEC coaches voted three Cypress Chargers to All-Conference honors. Malia Goldsmith and Jaylene Oviedo were selected to the first team while Thao Truong was selected to the second team.
Cypress women's basketball (18-10, 9-3 OEC) hosted the Santa Ana Dons (7-20, 0-12 OEC) in the regular season finale. The Chargers celebrated sophomore night with an exciting 64-50 victory. The Chargers will enter the playoffs next week winning eight of their last ten games as they are poised to make a run at the state championship.
Women's basketball (14-10, 6-3 OEC) hosted the Orange Coast Pirates (16-7, 5-2 OEC) on Wednesday night for their second match of the season. The Chargers and Pirates went down to the wire, but it was Orange Coast who made the final basket with one second to go and propel them to victory, 71-69.
Cypress Chargers women's basketball (13-9, 5-2 OEC) hosted in conference rival, Fullerton College (10-12, 3-4 OEC). After a tough first half the Chargers cruised past the Hornets, 60-53, for their second win in a row.

The Cypress women’s basketball team (4-6) hosted the 38th annual Lady Charger Classic over the weekend, playing three games in three days. The Chargers faced Grossmont, Palomar and Citrus College finishing with a 1-2 record. Jaylene Ovieda and Thao Truong were named to the All-Tournament team.
Cypress College will host the 38th annual Lady Charger Classic this weekend (Dec. 3 - Dec. 5). The colleges competing in this years classic will be East Los Angeles, El Camino, Palomar, Santa Monica, Compton, Citrus, Grossmont, and Cypress.
The Cypress Chargers (2-2) have began their 2021-2022 campaign with four straight road games beginning on November 3rd. The Chargers opened up the season with a win at El Camino College and then traveled to Merced College for a three-day tournament against Merced, San Joaquin Delta, and Fresno City College.
