Cypress Chargers women's basketball coach Margaret Mohr will host the 18th annual Mohr Hoops Basketball Camp at Cypress College from June 20th -24th with a second available session from July 18th -22nd.
Coach Mohr was named the 2015-16 Orange Empire Conference Coach of the Year after leading the Lady Chargers to another conference title with a 24-7 overall record. She has coaching experience at the high school, community college, NCAA, and WNBA levels totaling over 28 years of experience. Margaret played at Long Beach State on a basketball scholarship and led her team to the Final Four in 1987. She was inducted into the Long Beach state Hall of Fame in 2011.
Boys and girls age 7-14 can participate in either of the two available sessions. All participants will receive a camp shirt, jersey, basketball, player evaluation, and other prizes. The camp staff will consist of current and former community college, Division 3, Division 2, and Division 1 athletes. The Mohr Hoops camp has become a favorite for young people passionate about the game of basketball and has sold out the past two summers.
