CYPRESS, Calif. --- Haley Gorman from the Cypress Women's Basketball program was named the February 23- March 2, 2014 "Charger Athlete of the Week."
Gorman led the charge for Cypress in their first round playoff victory over Moorpark College, scoring 18 points and leading the Chargers with 10 rebounds in her impressive double-double performance.
Haley also led the Chargers in points (20) in their second round playoff loss against Mt. San Antonio College on March 1, 2014.
Gorman ended up averaging 14.9 PPG in the 2013-14 season and also led the team in rebounds with 8.4 per game.
Her successful season was also recognized by the Orange Empire Conference when she was named a first team All-Conference player alongside her Cypress teammate, Denshay Wallace.
