CYPRESS, Calif. --- Denshay Wallace from Women's Basketball has been named the December 1- December 8 "Charger Athlete of the Week".
Wallace averaged 25 points and 5.5 rebounds a game in her three games played last week in the 30th annual Lady Charger Classic.
Her most impressive performance came on December 7th. Wallace recorded 29 points, eight rebounds and four steals in a convincing 80-67 second round victory over Palomar.
Wallace also shot a remarkable 52% from the field throughout the tournament, going 26-50 throughout her three games played. Wallace also shot a respectable 80% from the charity strike throughout the Lady Charger Classic going 20-25 from the free throw line.
The Chargers finished second out of eight teams in the Lady Charger Classic with Wallace also making the All-Tournament team.
