CYPRESS, Calif. --- The Cypress Chargers shot nearly 44% from the floor in their (80-67) victory over Palomar College on Saturday night.
Cypress was able to win the rebounding battle against Palomar and took control of the game in the second half.
Denshay Wallace was the clear leader for the Chargers on Saturday night. Wallace scored a team high 29 pts. and also added eight rebounds and four steals to her impressive stat line.
Haley Gorman was second on the team in scoring with 18 pts. Gorman also had a team high nine rebounds.
Breanna Patton shot an impressive 8 for 15 from the field scoring 16 points, while Megan Hanson led the Chargers with five assists.
Cypress will now face East Los Angeles tomorrow in the Championship game of the 30th annual Lady Charger Classic. Tip off is set to start at 3:00 pm.
