MERCED, Calif. --- After going (2-1) last weekend at the Mt. San Jacinto Tournament, the Lady Chargers continued to play well this weekend, going (2-1) with victories over Foothill College and Merced College.
Cypress defeated Foothill (78-55) and took down a Merced team that hosted the tournament by a score of (58-51).
After winning their first two games of the weekend, the Chargers eventually fell short to Fresno City and left Merced with a second place tournament finish.
The 2-1 record over the weekend puts Cypress at (4-3) overall. The Chargers face West LA in their first game of the Lady Charger Classic on December 6, starting at 2:00 pm.
