#21 Chelsee Herron

The Cypress College Athletic Department is proud to present Chelsee Herron from the Charger Softball program with the "Charger Athlete of the Week" award for the week of May 4-11, 2014.

Herron drove in eight runs and scored two runs of her own throughout her four games played from May 4-11.  Her most impressive highlight came when she hit a game winning grand slam over Saddleback College in the Chargers Super Regional matchup on May 10, 2014.

The 9-0 six inning victory over the Gauchos set up a rematch with Mt. San Antonio College in the final game of the CCCAA Southern Section Super Regionals.

The catcher from John F. Kennedy High School led the Chargers this season in RBI's (44) and finished second on the team in home runs (6) in 2014.
