CYPRESS, CA – Sophomore tennis player Maximilien Blancaneaux has earned Charger of the Week (Feb. 13-19) after leading the No. 3 Chargers past No. 4 Ventura College 8 points to 1.

Blancaneaux teamed up with doubles partner Morgan Reynaud to win the first point for the Chargers by beating Ventura's number 1 doubles team 8 sets to 2. Then in singles Blancaneaux easily swept aside Ventura's top singles player Augustine Cestelle, 2 games to 0 by defeating him in straight sets 6-1 and 6-1.

This is the second time that Blancaneaux has been awarded Charger of the Week. Blancaneaux is the #1 ranked singles player in Southern California.
