Chang Paces Chargers at Mt. SAC Invitational

WALNUT, CA - The Cypress College men's swim and dive team finished 15th overall at the 2018 Mt. SAC Swimming and Diving Invitational, totaling 36 points over the 3-day event, which included 20 participating schools.

Freshman Nathan Chang placed 6th in the 200-yard butterfly.  The invite was the first time Chang attempted the monstrous event, toping over 27 other athletes.  Chang is now setting his goals on a State Championship birth. "The focus is there," said Head Coach Larry Beidler. "They are continually refining on the technical aspects of competitive swimming and we are seeing consistent improvements."

The Cypress College swim and dive team will begin Orange Empire Conference competition at Saddleback College on Friday, March 2nd at 10:00 a.m.
