CYPRESS, CA- The Cypress men's soccer team (7-4-5, 4-2-2 OEC) ended their match against the Irvine Valley Lasers (9-5-4, 4-2-3 OEC) in a draw, 1-1.
The Lasers opened the match with a 1-0 lead over the Chargers. Then, Julio Perez found the back of the net to tie the game at 1-1.
Both teams had four shots on goal in the second half, however no team was successful in closing out the victory. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Cypress gained their second tie in conference-play and sit fourth in the Orange Empire Conference standings.
UP NEXT: The Chargers will travel to Golden West College on Tuesday, November 1st. Match will begin at 3PM.
