Cypress – The Charger men's soccer team (7-3-3, 2-2-2 OEC) fell to rival Fullerton (5-4-4, 3-2-1 OEC) 2-0 on Friday afternoon in a game which helped raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, both the men's and women's soccer teamed up to raise nearly $600 for the Orange County chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The men's team wore special pink uniforms in the match to promote the cause.
The Chargers will hit the road for their next two matches, traveling to Santiago Canyon on Tuesday, Oct. 21 and then Irvine Valley on Friday, Oct. 24.
