Mike Magee of Men's Basketball Earns First-Team All-OEC Honors

CYPRESS, CA- At the annual post-conference men's basketball coaches meeting, the OEC coaches selected the First and Second All-Orange Empire Conference teams. Cypress' Mike Magee earned a well-deserved spot on the All-OEC First Team.

Sophomore guard Mike Magee was the Chargers' leading scorer on the year, averaging 17.1 points per game, which ranked third in the OEC, on 42.4% shooting. Magee was also second on the team in rebounding, averaging 6 rebounds per game to go along with 1.6 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He scored in double-figures in all but two conference games and eclipsed the 30-point mark in two of the Chargers' final four games. 

Cypress men's basketball team finished the season with a 17-11 overall record and a 6-6 record in the Orange Empire Conference, which landed the Chargers a fourth place finish in the OEC.
