Freshman men's basketball standout Mike Magee was awarded his second Charger of the Week this season during Tuesday's practice. Magee helped lead the Chargers to back-to-back victories during the week of Jan.13-21.

Magee began the week with an outstanding 24 points and 7 rebounds in a 75-72 victory over the Irvine Valley Lasers. Magee took over the game down the stretch, scoring 11 of Cypress' final 13 points, while going 7-of-7 at the line to seal the Chargers' first OEC victory of the season. He followed up the performance with a double-double in a 84-68 road victory over Santa Ana. Magee finished with 13 points and 15 rebounds.

The Cabrillo High School alumnus is averaging 13.6 points, 7 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game this season.
