CYPRESS, CA – Sophomore guard O'Shae Williams has earned Charger of the Week (Jan. 9-15) after leading the Chargers to wins over Orange Coast College and Irvine Valley College.
Williams contributed 17 points, 3 rebounds and a team leading 6 assists to power the Chargers past Orange Coast College, 82-73 for their first conference victory of the season. A few days later, Williams led the Chargers with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists as the Chargers captured their second conference win in a row, 61-55 over Irvine Valley College.
Williams appears in the Orange Empire Conference's top-five in points (15.1), assists (4.0), and steals (1.4) per game. The Pioneer High School alumnus is the second member of the men's basketball team to receive Charger of the Week this year.
