Former Charger Davon Potts Living Up To "Mr. Fourth Quarter" in Philippines

MANILA, Philippines – Former Cypress College basketball standout Davon Potts, now known in the Philippines as "Mr. Fourth Quarter", sparked a huge comeback for the top ranked San Beda Red Lions on Tuesday night. The 78-63 victory has propelled the Red Lions into the 92nd National Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Basketball Finals at the Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday.

Potts graduated from Gahr High School before spending his freshman year at Cal State University Northridge, where he appeared in 22 games for the Matadors. Potts transferred to Cypress College for his sophomore season, where he averaged 19.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game on 45% shooting for the Chargers. He finished the 2012-13 season as the 7th leading scorer in the CCCAA. Potts went on to play his junior season at Cal State Los Angeles before winding up with the Red Lions.
