Jordan Fleck Signs With Sonoma State University

By Wes McCurtis

CYPRESS, CA – Sophomore forward Jordan Fleck has signed on to play for the NCAA Division II Sonoma State University Seawolves next season. "I'm looking forward to the challenge at the next level…the experience I had with the team and the coaches on my visit really made me want to go there," said Fleck. Last season Fleck led the Chargers in points per game (15.1), rebounds per game (6.9), and steals per game (2.1).

Jordan Fleck was a sophomore leader and team captain for the Chargers, who helped take the program to new heights under 2nd year coach Andrew Alhadeff. His eight 20+ point performances and five double-doubles last season propelled the Chargers to a 22-7 overall record and 2nd place finish in the Orange Empire Confernce.

The Seawolves finished 14-13 overall with a 9-11 record in conference play last season. The All-OEC First Team selection will look to make an immediate impact for the Seawolves next season, "My versatility will allow me to play multiple positions and also defend multiple positions which should get me on the floor," said Fleck.

Fleck also got the job done in the classroom as a member of the Chargers, maintaining above a 3.5 GPA as a student-athlete. He will major in Psychology while attending Sonoma State.
