Potts moved to #5 all-time Charger scoring list

Cypress, CA - First year coach Chris St. Clair knew in June when Davon Potts transferred to Cypress College that he was going to make an impact. Potts played his freshman year at Cal State Northridge and transferred to Cypress for his Sophomore year. At Cypress he averaged 19.67ppg and scored in double-figures nearly every game. The only game he didn't was against Citrus College. Potts also moved into second place in the Charger all-time record books for free throw percentage at %87.3 surpassing Vince Hizon (1988-89) at %87.1.

Potts was voted to the First-team All-Conference team and ranks first in the conference in scoring and seventh in the state.
