CYPRESS, CA – Freshman catcher Chase Sebby has earned Charger of the Week (Jan. 23-29) after leading the No. 1 Chargers to two wins over No. 8 Cabrillo College, 7-1 and 5-4. 

Sebby went 2-for-3, 2RBI in the first game and his first hit started a rally that led to the Chargers scoring two more runs to increase their lead to 3-0. His second hit drove in two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Chargers went on to win 7-1. In the second game, Sebby made a pinch hit appearance in the bottom of the 9th inning with one out. He roped a double to left field and scored the game winning run on a sac fly one batter later. 

The Marina High School alumnus is the first member of the baseball team to receive Charger of the Week this year.
