Schultz' walk-off single propelled Chargers 6-5 win over GWC

Cypress, CA - Tyler Schultz singled into left field to score Dylan Moore from third base with two outs in the bottom of the 9th to give the Chargers a 6-5 win over Golden West. The victory was crucial for the Chargers (211-11, 9-8) to move into a 3-way tie in the conference and keep their hope of hosting the Regionals alive. The Rustlers (13-19, 6-11) scored five runs in the top of the 5th inning on four hits and an error courtesy of the Chargers. Golden West led 5-1 but the Chargers came back in the bottom of the 5th scoring three runs to cut the deficit to one. Sam Tolleson, Blake Davey and Dylan Moore scored.  Then in the bottom of the 6th, Robert Chavarria advanced to third after leading the inning with a double, then scored on a balk by the Ruslters' pitcher Quentin McGrath. Moore led the pack on the day with a 3-for-5 at bat, three RBI's and scored two runs.
