HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA – The Cypress College beach volleyball team (3-3, 1-0 OEC) split their four matches on Friday at the Newland Courts in Huntington Beach.

The Chargers picked up victories over Orange Empire Conference rival Fullerton College and Ottawa University's B Team, while suffering losses to College of the Desert and the Ottawa University A Team.

Cypress' No. 3 (Kayla Owens/Danielle Gomez) and No. 4 (Marina Pilkington/Ashley Corona) pairs had outstanding performances to pace the Chargers, each going 3-1 on the day.
