The FC men's soccer team continued their strong play at home Tuesday with a 3-1 victory over conference rival Cypress College.
Scoring the goals for the Hornets were Alan Torres, Manuel Gonzalez, Rueben Navarro. Diego Gonzalez and Brian Jaquez chipped in with the assists.
GK Julian Sanchez played a complete game allowing 1 goal with 5 saves.
The win keeps Fullerton on pace for a playoff spot as they are currently locked in third place in the Orange Empire Conference standings with a record of 7-3-3 and an overall record of 9-5-6. Golden West sits in first (11-2, 14-3-2) and Santiago Canyon is in second (8-3-2, 12-4-3).
