WOMEN'S TENNIS: STAYING HOT IN COLD WEATHER
Despite the frigid temperatures in Southern California, the Lady Hornets have remained hot beating Cypress College on Thursday 7-2 in the conference opener.
FC is now 5-0 on the season and looking to keep their winning ways going as they embark on playing in the tough Orange Empire Conference.
The doubles team of Janet Shiau/Kim La got FC off on the right foot winning 8-1.
Yu Seung Suh clinched it for the Hornets winning her match 6-0, 6-0. Janet Shiau won 6-0, 6-3, and Ashley Castro won her match 6-0, 6-0. Savanna Schreiner-Vanhoutte knocked off her opponent 6-1, 6-1.
Up Next: Fullerton (5-0, 1-0) will play today at San Diego City College at 2:00 pm for a non-conference match. On Tuesday, February 26th, FC gets back into conference-play when they host Saddleback College at 2:00 pm.
