WOMEN'S SOCCER: FC FALLS TO DISTRICT RIVAL

Fullerton lost at Cypress College on Friday 3-1 in an Orange Empire Conference game.

The loss is FC's fourth straight as they are now 1-4 after winning their season opener against Palomar 5-2.

FC's lone goal came from Tatsiana Loscutoff on a free kick late in the 88th minute.

Cyrpess scored their first goal in the 40th minute on a shot by Taylor Jones (assist by Nicole Walters). The Chargers went on to score two more goals in the second half by Julissa Zuniga (46th minute) and Kailey Merino (53rd minute).

Hornet goalie Kennedy Heywood put in some work defending the goal with 9 saves while allowing 3 goals in 90 minutes.

Up Next: The Hornets (1-4 overall, 0-2 OEC) will play this Tuesday, September 20th at Irvine Valley College. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
