Cypress College Athletics Hosting Youth Summer Sports Camps

CYPRESS, CA – Cypress College Athletics is offering a variety of youth summer sports camps designed to teach fundamental skills, promote teamwork, and build confidence in young athletes. Camps are available in Soccer, Swim, Water Polo, Volleyball, Softball, and Flag Football and are led by Cypress College head coaches and current student-athletes.

Each camp provides a fun, engaging environment led by experienced coaches and current student-athletes who are passionate about mentoring the next generation. Campers will learn sport-specific fundamentals while developing communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

All participants must complete the online registration form, including emergency contact details and waiver agreement.

Dates: July 7–July 11
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Led by Head Women's Soccer Coach Erick Hurtarte and Head Men's Soccer Coach Cristian Rus, with support from current Cypress soccer student-athletes.

Dates: Wednesdays – July 2, 9, 16, 23
Time: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Directed by Head Swim & Dive Coach Frisk Driscoll. Campers must be comfortable in the pool. This is not a learn-to-swim camp.

Dates: June 23–June 26
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Directed by Head Women's Water Polo Coach Julia Reyes. Open to ages 7–14. Campers should be confident swimmers.

Dates: July 8–July 9
Time: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM; Lunch Break; 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Directed by Head Volleyball Coach Danilo Iordanov. Open to players of all skill levels.

Dates: July 8–July 10
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Led by Head Coach Brad Pickler and staff. Open to girls ages 7–14.

Dates: July 28–July 31
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Directed by Head Women's Flag Football Coach Sean Clark. Open to boys and girls with all levels of experience.
