Evan Rolbiecki Earns Charger of the Week (March 3-March 9)

CYPRESS, CA – Cypress College baseball standout Evan Rolbiecki has been named Charger of the Week for his exceptional performance in the Chargers' series against rival Fullerton College. Rolbiecki played a pivotal role in securing the series victory, showcasing his offensive firepower across three games.

In the series opener, Rolbiecki was instrumental in leading Cypress to a 10-6 win over the Hornets. He drove in five runs and scored once, delivering clutch hits in key moments. His impact was felt late in the game as he smashed a double in the seventh inning before blasting a grand slam in the eighth to put the game out of reach.

The second game saw Rolbiecki continue his dominance at the plate, belting two two-run home runs—one to open the first inning and another in the fourth. His early contributions helped propel the Chargers to a commanding 10-1 victory and secured the series win.

Despite Cypress dropping the third game 17-8, Rolbiecki remained a bright spot for the Chargers' offense, adding a triple and scoring two runs.
