Porter Rosenlof Earns Charger of the Week (September 9 - September 15)

CYPRESS, CA – Cypress College Men's Water Polo standout, Porter Rosenlof, has been named Charger of the Week following his impressive performances in back-to-back victories against Riverside City College and Grossmont College.

Rosenlof showcased his offensive power, leading the Chargers with a team-high 6 goals in their conference-opening win over Riverside. He continued to shine under the lights against Grossmont, contributing to the hard-fought 12-10 victory, adding a combined 10 goals and 2 assists over the two games.

In a thrilling 12-10 victory against Grossmont, Porter played a pivotal role in sealing the game for the Chargers. With less than a minute remaining, he scored the decisive goal to put Cypress ahead 11-10 and blocked Grossmont's final shot to secure the win.

Rosenlof's remarkable play also earned him recognition from the Orange Empire Conference, as he was named Athlete of the Week. His leadership and scoring ability have been key to the Chargers' strong start this season.
