Cypress College Announces 2019 Hall of Fame Class

CYPRESS, CA – The Cypress College Dean of Kinesiology and Athletics, Dr. Richard Rams, has announced 11 men and women who will comprise the Cypress College Athletics 2019 Hall of Fame Class. This class, made up of outstanding former student athletes and coaches, will be inducted on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in a ceremony to be held on campus in the Gym II Foyer.

The induction event is set to begin with a Hall of Fame breakfast from 8:30-10:00am, followed by the formal program from 10:00-11:30am, and ending with a social hour for all guests. The Cypress College baseball and softball teams will each host a home game at 1:00pm directly following the program.

The Hall of Fame breakfast and induction event are free admission with RSVP. However, limited space is available, to RSVP please contact Wes McCurtis (wmccurtis@cypresscollege.edu | 714-484-7356) by Friday, February 22 to reserve your seat.

In order to be eligible for consideration into the Cypress College Athletics Hall of Fame as a student athlete, a candidate must graduate or be eligible for transfer from Cypress College. Student Athletes are not eligible for induction until three years after meeting the graduation/transfer requirement. Coaches under consideration must have coached at least five years. Candidates are selected based on accomplishments.
