CYPRESS, CA – The Cypress College baseball program, along with representatives from the Athletics Department, took an important recruiting trip to Cypress High School on Wednesday afternoon.
Cypress College Head Baseball Coach, Anthony Hutting, presented Cypress High School senior Brent Dillard an offer to become team manager for the Chargers next season. Dillard has participated in the Centurions baseball program as an announcer, manager and statistician.
"We go to a lot of Cypress High School baseball games to recruit guys," said Hutting. "We noticed Brent's intensity and commitment to their program. After hearing he was coming to Cypress College next year, we wanted him to be a part of our program and bring that same energy."
Coach Hutting, along with Head Coach Emeritus Scott Pickler and Charlie the Charger, presented Dillard with some Cypress Chargers gear to get him ready for the upcoming season. Welcome to #CypCity Brent!
